I hope each of my friends on Facebook is enjoying a little sunshine and the sound of birds in the trees — even if nature is still slowly waking up from winter.
But we have our own small mission today.
We agreed to gently support our metabolism.
So here is today’s breakfast suggestion — simple and pleasant, as always.
Depending on whether you prefer something sweet or something more fresh and salad-like, you can choose either one apple or one cucumber.
Add Greek yogurt and a small handful of nuts.
Personally, I like pine nuts, but any nuts that grow in your region will work perfectly. The important thing is not to eat too many, because nuts are very nutritious and quite calorie-dense.
A simple and satisfying breakfast for metabolic balance could look like this:
• Greek yogurt – 150 g
• a handful of nuts (10–15 g)
• one cucumber or one apple
If the proportions are balanced, this breakfast contains approximately 250–300 kcal.
☕ About coffee
Coffee can absolutely remain part of your morning routine if you enjoy it.
If you drink coffee, freshly ground coffee is usually the best choice.
Adding 50–100 ml of milk will not interfere with metabolism.
Of course, you can also drink it without milk — just remember that the breakfast itself may feel slightly less satisfying.
⚠️ What not to do today
If you want your weight to stabilize more quickly:
• do not replace meals with coffee
• avoid sweet pastries
• if you want a treat, try baking something using protein-based recipes (we will talk about them later)
• do not eat fruit alone without protein — fruit sugars can increase appetite
• never skip breakfast
• try to sleep well — if you need to wake up early, go to bed a little earlier.
🚶♀️ A small trick for your metabolism
About 10–15 minutes after breakfast, try to move a little.
Even 5–10 minutes of walking or light household activity can help your body regulate glucose more efficiently.
And remember one very important thing:
Sometimes 1 kg disappears within 2–3 days, once water balance stabilizes and your eating rhythm returns to normal.
