has an average glycemic index, but in raw form it is lower
rich in beta-carotene
Egg
a good source of protein

with high cholesterol, usually 1 egg per day is allowed (unless there are other restrictions from the doctor) Walnuts
are very good for the heart
contain omega-3

but very high in calories, so the amount is important
Garlic
