About Tessa Fairmont
Tessa Fairmont writes about nutrition, metabolism and everyday food habits for women over 35.
Her work focuses on a calm and sustainable approach to health, emphasizing metabolic stability rather than restrictive dieting.
After years of observing how diet culture affects women’s relationship with food, she began exploring a different perspective: how rhythm, nourishment and balance can support the body more effectively than constant restriction.
Through articles, practical observations and simple food ideas, this website explores how metabolism changes with age and how women can build a more stable and peaceful relationship with food.
The ideas presented here are educational and reflective in nature and are not intended to replace professional medical advice.
If you’ve tried to eat less, control more, and push harder — and nothing seems to work anymore, you are not broken.
Your body may simply be protecting you.
After stress or long-term pressure, weight loss is not about discipline.
It’s about rebuilding safety.

About the Author
Oksana Piwowar is a psychologist and author.
Her books have been published under the pen name Tessa Fairmont.
Her work focuses on metabolic balance, stress recovery, and sustainable nutrition for women 35+.
Oksana’s interest in nutrition began after she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and discovered a genetic predisposition to high cholesterol and high blood pressure. This experience led her to study dietetics and nutritional care more deeply.
She completed additional training in nutrition and in care for older adults and people with chronic conditions, combining her psychological background with practical dietary knowledge.
Through personal experimentation, structured meal planning, and a “healthy living marathon” organized for family and volunteers, she developed a method centered on stability rather than restriction.
Her approach integrates:
– psychological insight
– metabolic science
– practical everyday cooking
She believes that long-term health does not begin with willpower.
It begins with stability.
Regular meals.
Realistic routines.
Understanding how stress affects the body.
Her books offer structure without rigidity and guidance without pressure.
They are written for readers who want cooperation with their body — not conflict.
